About the Site

The site was launched by BuddyB who was born in Burma (now known as Myanmar) but currrently lives in North America. One of BuddyB's passions is traveling around the world. Like a typical overseas Burmese who grew up in Burma, BuddyB tries to find Burmese community whenever he visits a foreign country or city, and likes to enjoy Burmese food there while asking for travel tips.

BuddyB is interested in reading latest news happening inside Burma including Burmese celebrity news and gossips as well as latest events happening in Burmese communities around the world. He felt there was a need for a global social networking site for Burmese people around the world which will serve as a one-stop web site for various issues ranging from culture, travel and cooking tips, diversity, experience, career networking to immigration and survival tips in new countries, and life in general.
