Run for Relief in Burma in U.K. on 10 Oct 2009

Credit: Edinburgh Run for Relief.

Thousands in Burma are forced by their own government to flee their homes and run for for their lives. You can help.

For the past two years the Edinburgh Run for Relief in Burma has been a great success, with hundreds of runners and walkers raising over £7600 to help internally displaced people in Burma. But there's still more to do! So they are running again this year on Saturday 10 October 2009 in Inverleith Park. Runners will meet in the Pavilion at the East entrance to Inverleith Park (nearest to the Botanic Gardens).

The race will start at 11am with prizes awarded afterward. A free lunch is offered after the race for those who want to learn more about the issues affecting Burma today - and what you can do to help.
